Iliinsky Volcano

Iliinsky Volcano doesn’t belong to any volcanic group located in the eastern range. It is situated in the south of the peninsula on the north-eastern shore of Kuril Lake. It is a complex active stratovolcano located in a 4km wide caldera. The last eruption of this 1,578m high volcano dates back to 1901. Iliinksy is among the unique natural sites in South Kamchatka Federal Reserve.
