Nizhne-Semiachskiye Hot Springs

Nizhne-Semiachskiye hot springs are among the unique natural sites of Kronotsky National Biosphere Reserve. At the north of the Semiachkski estuary and 8 km from Bolshoi Semiachik Volcanic massif there is a bucolic place where Erman’s birch proliferate. Here several streams spring out and many hot springs are gathered at an altitude of 150-160 meters. The springs come from a small valley and first flow gently until they turn into a beautiful mountain stream and then into even more beautiful hot waterfalls. In spring, when the valley is still entirely covered in snow, near Nizhne-Semiachskiye hot springs primroses and butterflies can already be observed.
