Aag Volcano is part of Avachinsky-Koriaksky volcano group made up of 5 volcanoes in the eastern range. It is located in Nalychevo Nature Park included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. With volcanoes Koriaksky and Avachinsky they form the “Three volcanoes” zoological Reserve. This complex extinct volcano reaches a height of 2,310 meters. It is attached to Arik volcano (2,156m). The two of them are strongly eroded by glaciers.
