This complex extinct volcano reaches a height of 2,310 meters. It is attached to Arik volcano (2,156m). The two of them are strongly eroded by glaciers. Another ravine is located on the north eastern side of Aag volcano and is quite dangerous because of fallen rocks coming from the summit. On this same side extrusive domes were created as well as cinders and lava cones.
The date of volcano Aag’s last eruption is unknown. At the north west of the volcano’s bas, up Chumnaya River are located several hot springs. The volcano attracts many excursions and extreme sports enthusiasts.
