Burljaschi Volcano

Burljaschi is located in Bolshoy Semiachik volcanic massif that is made of 7 stratovolcanoes in the eastern range. It is one of the two active volcanoes of the massif. Its activity is characterized by the presence of solfatara as mud pools. Reaching a height of 1,164 meters, the date of the last eruption of this volcano is unknown. It is part of Kronotsky National Biosphere Reserve.
