Vilyuchinsky Volcano

Vilyuchinsky Volcano is a stratovolcan outside of the eastern volcanic range. It is located in the South Kamchatka Nature Park, to the south east of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. This volcano is surrounded by the valleys of rivers Vilyucha, Paratunka and Bolshaya Saranaya. Its shape is one of a straight cone reaching 2,173 meters. The date of the last eruption of this extinct volcano is unknown. From one of its glaciers flows the waterfall of the same name. At the foot of the Vilyuchinsky Volcano many volcanic formations emerged as well as lakes Zelyonoye and Topolevoye.
