Malaya Laguernaya Bay

Malaya Laguernaya Bay, spreading on 1.12km, is part of Avacha Bay. Its name means “small field”. It came from the small prisoner camp that had been built there in Soviet times. Nowadays, this place receives people from the surrounding area all-year long. In summer, because of all the visitors and the importance of the bay for the spawning period of salmons, a fishing guard watches over the site.
