Aagskiye Mineral Springs

Aagskiye mineral springs are located about 2 km away uphill on the left source of Chistaya River, north east of the path that leads to Pinachevsky on Nalychevski’s springs pass. They belong to Nalychevo Nature Park included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. The springs are divided into two groups. Waters of the upper group are cold (5 to 11°c) with a low rate of flow, whereas those of the lower group are hot (up to 39°C) with a flow rate of 10 L/s. What makes these springs special is the formation of orange deposits. Many of the springs are carbonated water. The mineralization rate is 1.1 g/L.
