Zhirovskiye Hot Springs

Zhirovskiye hot springs are located in the narrow valley of Zhirovaya river, 10km away from the Ocean. They are part of the South Kamchatka Nature Park included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. They are made up of two groups. One is located uphill of the Levaya Zhirovaya River and characterized by its fumes. The other one is in the middle watercourse of Zhirovaya River. The water’s temperature reaches 90°C, its flow is 30L/s. The mineralization rate is 0.5g/L. These waters are said to be able to cure traumatisms, musculoskeletal, peripheral nervous system and skin diseases.
