The Vladimir Vernadsky State Geological Museum

Created in 1755, this geological museum is one of the oldest museums in Moscow. In 1988 it was granted the status of “Russian Science Academy Scientific and Civilizing Centre in the field of Earth sciences”. The museum contains historical collections gathered in the last two and a half centuries all over the world. It allows emphasizing on Man’s responsibilities on the condition of the environment.
