Alexander Herzen House-Museum

Philosopher, writer and essayist Alexander Herzen (1812-1870) lived in this house that now became a museum. Visiting his study and living-room one can admire portraits of the scholar, his family and relatives. The collection consists of rare books signed by their authors, manuscripts and personal effects among other items. The Alexander Herzen House-Museum is a branch of the Literature Museum.
