Orlov Museum of Paleontology

Created in 1937, this paleontological museum is one of the world’s largest history museums. Six exhibition rooms cover a total of 5,000 sq-meters. A huge ceramic fresco called “Tree of life” welcomes the visitors. After that they can admire a Mammoth’s skeleton found in Siberia in 1842, they can visit the Precambian and Peleozoic halls, they get to observe dinosaur’s skeleton and get acquainted with the fauna that populated earth a long time ago and with the geological history of the region of Moscow.
