Lefortovo History Museum

The museum focuses on the history of a small Moscow district created in 1699. The collections cover a large period of time: from Peter the Great to the present. In the 18th century, the district welcomed many imperial delegations. One century later, a few military schools were built there. The 20th century is mentioned through pictures and documents linked to heavy industry. Maps and plans allow visitors to understand the evolution of Lefortovo through the centuries. Various guided tours are offered, you can walk or take a bus-tour and your guide is either costumed or not.
