Archeological Museum

On the Manege square the construction of an underground shopping centre revealed remnants from 16th-17th century. This originated the idea of creating a museum in that spot. The Archeological museum was founded in 2007 and is located seven meters under the ground. The highlight of the collection is the Voskrecensky (resurrection) bridge that used to link Tverskaya Street to Tversky door. This museum is a branch of the History Museum.
