Vysotsky House-Museum in Taganka

This museum, also a cultural centre, is dedicated to Vladimir Vysotsky (1938-1980). Great composer-songwriter-player, bard and actor, his songs were disliked by Soviet authorities. The museum is located near the “Taganka Theatre” where the singer spent a lot of time for 16 years of his life. The collection of over a thousand items retraces his life and work.
