Museum of Private Collections

The Museum of Private Collections opened in 1984 in the left wing of an 18th century mansion. Since 2005, it occupies three floor of this historical house. The first two floors contain the permanent collection while the last one receives the temporary exhibitions. The museum is made up of thirty private collections (that were donated). All together seven thousand art items from Russia and Western Europe, covering a period from the 15th to the 20th century, are preserved in the museum: paintings, drawings, sculptures, decorative art and pictures.
