Rerikh Museum

This museum was created on the initiative of Sviatoslav Rerikh in 1990 so as not to have his parent’s heritage divided after their death. The museum relates the life and work of Nikolai Rerikh (1874-1947, internationally known as Nicholas Roerich), a Russian artist from India, and of his wife Elena Rerikh (1879-1955). Among the shown items, visitors can see four hundred paintings, drawings, manuscripts, books as well as personal effects that belonged to the family.
