Alfred Miriechk’s Russian Accordion Museum

This is a one-of-a-kind museum in Russia. It was created by Alfer Miriechk in 1961. This artist and professor devoted most of his life to one of Russians’ favorite music instruments: the accordion. The items contained in the collection retrace the history of this instrument from its creation in 1780 to nowadays. In the museum you can visit a former accordion workshop from the 19th century, and find yourself in the atmosphere of a traditional tavern!
