Contemporary History Museum

The Contemporary History Museum is located in a neoclassical building from the 18th century. It was called “Revolution Museum” until 1998 and covers Russian history from the second half of the 19th century to nowadays. The museum’s collections are made of more than two million items. Contemporary Russian history is told through thousands of documents, photos, tracts, posters, audio recordings, banners, postcards, coins, etc.
