If you like mountains, you should certainly visit the Caucasus. We propose you to go for the tour that unites visits of the Republic of Adygea and the Krasnodar Krai. A real immersion to the nature of the Western Caucasus!
After getting acquaintance with Krasnodar city – an unofficial capital of the Southern Russia, you will go to Mezmay village situated in the valley where three gorges meet. The village is surrounded by mountains. The population of the village is about 700 persons. It makes you feel like absolutely isolated from the world surrounded by majestic Caucasus Mountains. There will be the gorges and caves, waterfalls and beautiful rivers, mountains ranges and rocks, old-growth forest and alpine meadows. You will visit the symbolic places: Guamsky and Skalisty mountain range, Kurdzhips river and, of course, Lago-Naki plateau – the treasor of Adygea subscribed to the UNESCO World Heritage list.
The particular part of the tour is the overnight s in the camping on the alpine meadow. During the trekking you won’t bring heavy backpacks, the group is accompanied by the back-horses. After two days of the trekking, you will have a rest in the Russian black banya (sauna) with professional bath-house attendant.
Although there are a lot of visits, this tour is accessible for families. It’s a good variant for those who aren’t ready for long expeditions in the Caucasus and for those who would like to make a lot of good photos.
