Tour Overview:

This tour will allow you to discover the Buryat village of Arshan, no matter summer or winter. Located at the foot of the Eastern Sayans, this village is filled with numerous thermal springs. You will be able to visit Buddhist temple, Datsan, the mountain Kyngarga river and its pretty cascades.

Tour Programme:

Day 1

Morning departure for the Sayans from the bus station of Irkutsk. An hour later, we will approach the mountains; weather permitting, wonderful breathtaking scenery. Arrival in Arshan. Homestay accommodation. Discovery of the village, visit to Buddhist temple where we may see a traditional service. Walks.

Day 2

Activities at your choice: ascent of Peak of Love (400 m/1300 ft of elevation changes) and/or hike to the cascades. Possibility to enjoy thermal springs. Return to Irkutsk in the afternoon. Arrival at the bus station of Irkutsk by 6 o'clock. End of the programme.
