In accordance with their point of departure or arrival, they may be preceded or followed by stays on Olkhon Island, in Listvyanka, and other places of Lake Baikal. This option is ideal for those who, staying on Olkhon Island, would like to go on a cruise to discover less accessible places of Lake Baikal. On a cruise, you will visit the strait of Maloye More (Small Sea) and its islets, Chivyrkuysky Gulf and its Zmeinaya bay where you will have a chance to dip into local hot springs. We will take you to the Barguzinsky Reserve where forestry officers will guide you in wild taiga. Extension suggestion: Before and after the cruise: Olkhon Island, Ust-Barguzin and Zabaikalsky National Park, and Severobaikalsk. Tour Programme:Day 1
5-hour sail, 70 km/44 mi way
Boat embarkation between 12.00 and 02.00 pm in Sakhurta. Discovery of the strait of Maloye More and its islets. Night anchored. Day 2
8/10-hour sail, 130 km/80 mi way
Sail as far as the north of Olkhon, discovery of Buryat sacred site, Khoboy Cape. Crossing of Lake Baikal towards Chivyrkuysky Gulf. If weather conditions permit, stop at Ushkany to see freshwater seal of Lake Baikal (provided that the lake is calm). Seal shore visit is paid (2000 RUB/pers). Day 3

Voyage as far as the village of Davsha, visit to local museum. Walk in the Barguzinsky nature reserve. Night anchored. Day 4

Early morning departure. Long journey to the strait of Maloye More. Discovery of sacred Burkhan rock and a nice beach near the main village of Olkhon, Khuzhir. If we have enough time, we will visit Ogoy islet and its Buddhist stupa (domed edifice housing Buddhist relics). Night anchored in a bay in the south of Olkhon. Day 6
End of the cruise.
After breakfast sail to the village of Sakhurta, disembarkation. It is possible to go ashore on Olkhon island (please let us know in advance).
