In the very heart of the Pribaikalsky National Park you will enjoy a horseback ride through unspoiled taiga of Lake Baikal and discover amazing landscapes. Steep rocks, pebble beaches, valleys with Alpine flora, site of prehistoric humans, Buryat village of Bolshoye Goloustnoye - are on the menu of this journey. The ride will be held on the southwest shore of the lake which can seem the most accessible. However, for lack of roads and beaten paths this location stay protected and offer exciting itineraries. This tour is intended for experienced riders knowing how to walk and trot on horseback. Your participation will be needed to curry, saddle and unsaddle horses with the help of your Russian guide. You are also welcome to participate in feeding horses.

We will meet our horses, learn horse handling techniques, and saddle up. Horseback ride starts and winds through taiga in northwest direction, to Khartaktay valley. Night in tent.

We will get over the "devil's bridge" – the path pierced in the rock and Skriper cape, we will ford the rivers and discover the rock of gulls. Arrival in the village in late afternoon. It is hot in summer at Lake Baikal area. Nevertheless, you should always have something to put on, as weather in Siberia is very changeable. If you plan your trip in May or September, please feel free to bring your hat, gloves and windbreaker jacket in case of snow or rain. June is also pretty cool. July and August are the hottest months, which offer you temperatures of 25 ° - 35 ° at daytime and 15 ° - 18 ° at night.
