Tour Overview

The battle of Borodino weakened the French Army, and announced their future long retreat and numerous losses.

Napoleon himself, wrote the following report about the battle of Borodino: "Of the fifty battles I have fought, the most terrible was that before Moscow. The French showed themselves to be worthy victors, and the Russians can rightly call themselves invincible".

The battle of Borodino is a founding event of Russian patriotism.
