Tour Overview

Tired from noisy city and traffic jams? This week end, it's time to take a trian from Saint-Petersburg or Moscow to Petrozavodsk to enjoy Karelian nature and to get new emotions! 

During these two days you will mix cultural part of the tour with active stay. The first day, you will visit the open air museum Kizhi included in the UNESCO World Heritage list, where you will go by hovercraft and on the second day you will ride a dog sled and drive a snowmobile on the Lake Siamozero and in the snow covered forest. This day you have an unusual lunch of Karelian's specialties accompagnied with the folklore show. You will stay in the cosy tourist complex.

    *The indicated time is only for the train N18 from Moscow. If you are going to take the train N 658, please, notice that the train from Saint-Petersurg arrives at 6:40 and you will have 3 hours fo free time before the tour starts.

    Visit of the kennel. This day you will be like a really musher! You will ride a dog sled on the Lake Siamozero, than you will cross the snow covered forest and make a stop for hot tea.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, dans un lieu magique et hors du commun. Le personnel sur place est très sympathique. Deux petits bémols: - le canapé lit de notre chalet était vraiment étroit pour 2 personnes, alors que les autres couchages étaient très bien. - il est dommage que personne ne parle réellement anglais sur place (difficile de se faire comprendre pour des demandes précises).
